The trail into Hermit Meadows is snowfree to 1800m, then patchy to 2050m, then completely snowbound above. The campground at 2100m is still under 1.5-2m of snow. Lone Pine gully is a thrash through alder for the first few hundred meters, then snow with a few thinning moats. Access to Mt Macdonald also consists of alder-bashing for a couple hundred meters, then good snow up the Herdman Couloir and Banana Couloir.
Up the Asulkan Valley, lots of patches of snow getting to the moraine below the Asulkan hut, then the moraine is completely snowbound.
