The Adventure Guide Diploma Students at TRU spent 7 days at Harrison Hut near the Pemberton Ice field.

The main pattern of the past few days was lots of snow and strong wind from the South. We received up to 60cm HST which was reactive to skier traffic only on unsupported features. The freezing level went up to 1600 meters during that storm.

As we flew out, we noticed a widespread avalanche cycle up to size 3 in the alpine. Cornices are big and some fell down during the storm triggering some slopes below.
