We did couple of loops on Jimmy Junior Bowl.
Variable wind all day, but mostly S, gusting between M to S.
On our 2nd lap, snow transport cover our previous up-track up to 70% in less than an hour.
HS also quite variable from 45cm to a bit over 100cm on lee sides.
We observed few Sz1 loose dry, from steep, rocky, terrain, on E aspects mostly due to the wind action on the upper ridges. Also, there were quite few, 24hrs old dry loose, again from steep rocky terrain on S aspects.
Ski was possible due to the supportive lower crust which holds quite well to about 2200m.
Foot pen all the way down to the lower crust, which is quite breakable if you push hard.
Below 2200m ski pen was not very supportive, sinking mostly all the way to the lower layers.
Soon as you begin to ski a bit more aggressive, you will be touching rocks!
