On September 12, two guests and I had an enjoyable day on The President.

Observations:

Recent Precipitation
We observed the snowline to be at 2800m on the President Glacier with accumulation amounts steadily increasing to ~10cm at 3100m.

Glacier Conditions
- Below ~2700m, travel was on bare glacial ice covered by a thin layer of refrozen rain/wet snow which increased footing security.

- Numerous rocks of various sizes are perched on the climbers right on the glacier, we took care to avoid traveling below this area and took a line just right of centre on the bottom section of glacier.

- Navigating the bergschrund represented the most technical portion of the climb. We found a reasonable line on the climbers right side and managed the fall hazard and crevasse fall hazard in a few short pitches.
