Climbing Conditions

Jasmin Caton and I ran two ACC courses in the Bugaboos July 17-20 and 24-26. We had great weather and climbing / travel conditions.

We climbed Hound’s Tooth and Eastpost Spire, and did a trip on the Pigeon Fork of the Bugaboo Glacier.

The snow is melting fast, but the Pigeon Fork is still mostly snow covered with fast travel on supportive sun-cupped snow.

We didn’t use the Bugaboo-Snowpatch Col, but climbers are reportedly still going up and down it.

We enjoyed good visibility with just light smoke haze.
