Climbing Conditions

I was up Achilles spire through Alpine Odyssey guiding adventures. Ravi and I found water not far from the base of the route where there is snow melt still on July 18.
We were the first of seven parties that day. We left the car at 5am.

It was our first time up the route. A few things I wished I had known:

The description on mountain project and gripped is mostly great except:

That there are many waterfalls that you will pass and, travel is on the north and south side of Hector creek. Route finding was fairly easy as it’s a very well travelled route.

Also, a better photo for finding the start of the route. See attached.

And pitch 5 with the A0 move has five bolts, not four. With the A0 move at the last bolt.

I also attached a photo of the last rappel which is just to the left of the first pitch.
