Climbing Conditions

We went yesterday very early to climb Mount Roger in Roger Pass. No freeze overnight. Hermit meadow campground is full of snow, you can just see the top of the food bear Boxes.

Good snow travel from hermit meadow (all on snow all the way to the ridge of Tupper and good snow cover on the glacier, minimal crevasses showing.

Bucket steps all the way to the col of Mount Roger climbing up the main snow face. We observed one natural avalanche size 2 (loose wet) from one of the couloir below Swiss Peak.
