Just back from three days in the East Creek Basin. Travel through the Pigeon - Howser Col is still pretty good with only a couple of short sections on rock/gravel. It is melting out fast and will be challenging once the snow is gone.
Be mindful of the South Howser icefall as you come and go from camp. It has been active lately, threatens a hefty portion of the approach, and can occasionally send debris to within metres of some of the tent sites.
Most of the flat tent sites at East Creek Camp are now snow free.
We did not travel through the Bugaboo - Snowpatch Col, but some climbers we met on Pigeon Spire reported that it was "sporty" and deteriorating quickly.
Have fun.
