Over the Easter weekend we climbed select classics as it was Jason's first time in the Canadian Rockies;
Professor Falls was dry and soft hero ice, we were one of two parties on Louise followed by an afternoon start on Guiness, Murchison was in great shape with nobody else present, an uncrowded situation we again found at the Weeping Wall.
It made me wonder if holiday weekends in the spring are the best time to climb in the Rockies with soft ice, warm hands, and hardly another climber to be found.
