Skied out of the Telluride Ski Area gates into Bear Creek, up and over into Ophir via Spring Gulch. The ascent out of bear creek was firm and ski crampons are very helpful on the steep firm traverses. We dropped into Spring gulch at 12:15pm, which was perfect timing for the corn. Light W winds and intense solar felt all day. Snow all the way down to the road in West Ophir. Previous wet avalanche debris observed in the gulch but it looks like it was covered by the last snowfall, so at least 2 weeks old.
