The glaciers are very dry with not much firn snow and many more open crevasses than is usual. This will be something to pay attention to as we get our first fall snows and they start to become thinly covered.
Of particular note is large open crevasses on the popular ski tours of Little Crowfoot and Bow Glacier above Bow Hut.
