Spent 3 days ski touring from the Bow Hut. There was just enough snow in the parking lot to skin the entire way to the hut. The travel off trail BTL is challenging with only 10-20cm HS. Up to 40 cm HS around the hut. Hn over the 3 days was 18cm and the temps ranged from -5 to -18, winds light to moderate and north to south. Coverage on the glacier is relatively good for this time of the year with 85-120cm in most locations. There was a small cycle to Sz 2 in the HST in isolated extreme terrain. Test Profile on at 2900m South East aspect on Mt Rhonda showed no significant results and the early Oct interface was not found. Overall good skiing in the Alpine, bad skiing TL and below. But it is only Nov.
