Madeleine Martin-Preney and I spent the past few days climbing from a camp at Mulvey Lakes in Valhalla Provincial Park. We had great late summer conditions with dry rock. We found crampons and an axe useful for the small glacier on the north side of the Gimli/Nisleheim col. with big packs (see photo attached), as it was mostly dry (no snow). Enjoy the rest of summer!
