TJ and I attempted the East ridge of Edith Cavell yesterday. Approach up the valley is mostly dry with the odd snow patch making travel easy towards the saddle, Once there, a large snowfield makes easy, fast travel up to the saddle. The lower half of the route is in dry good shape with ample opportunities to fill water bottles at the base presently. Once on the shoulder ~2900M winter snow patches exist. The ridge has large patches of snow throughout and the top of the mountain remained in the clouds all day.
Not in its normal summer shape quite yet.
