We had a great day up on Mist Ridge today. Skies were clear and temps were perfect in the low 20's with almost no wind. We heard a bit of thunder just as we returned to the car - so the trail will probably be extremely wet tomorrow. There were obvious signs of wet weather the day/night before with quite a few muddy and slippery sections on the trail up to the ridge and then on the return along Mist Creek. We also noted A LOT of bear scat on the lower sections of both trails - so be bear aware! Best part was, we only saw 2 trail runners the entire day (not sure they did the entire circuit as we did not see them anywhere on the ridge). All in all it was a great day!
