Banff Visitor Safety will be conducting avalanche control on Mt Bosworth, Mt Field, Mt Stephen and the Sunshine road, Dec 21 2016. There will be closures in place on Highway 1 and the sunshine ski resort road intermittently through the day. We ask that recreationalist re frame from using these areas tomorrow. This includes ice climbing on Bourgeau Right and Left, ice climbing on Mt Stephen, and Field and and skiing Mt Field.
