Hiked the Jasper Skyline from July 8-10 starting from the Signal fire road. Conditions were superb on the west end of the trail, mostly dry but the mosquitos at the Signal campsite were ferocious. The only spot of concern was at the notch, the highest pass on the trail. A lingering steep snow field has a good track set but a fall would not be fun. Recommend poles. The trail from little shovel campsite is still very muddy in spots.
Wildlife: Ground squirrels, Ptarmigans, and copious amounts of Marmots.
