We enjoyed a pleasant run hike up to just below Pearly Rock on June 17th. Fresh bear diggings were observed on the lower trail through the trees. Trail is in good condition up to where it crosses the creek below the Vaux Glacier, where the bridge has not been put in for the summer. In the morning it was easily crossed however could get challenging with the forecasted warm weather. Above this we had clear trials to 2200m where we hit significant amounts of snow and turned around. Above this a slip and fall, and Avalanche hazard are present.
