Yesterday I did a short final day of ice guiding for the season. Conditions were good for this time of the year. Grotto falls is thick plastic ice and not too wet. His and Hers are both hanging in for now. I wouldn't go near His these days, but Hers felt reasonable and we did a couple of laps on the left, bring delicate near the top where the ice is thinner with running water in behind, and avoided the sketchy looking ice on the right.
I imagine both climbs will last a little longer in this winter without an end.
