We skied the Dolomite Circuit yesterday, March 18th. Fast travel with a good track set to Dolomite Pass. We had mixed visibility, but it was generally filtered sun. Temps stayed cool with the light cloud cover a cool breeze from the north, and we didn't observe any avalanches running. We noted several avalanches (mainly loose dry) that likely ran on Saturday in the recent storm snow. They only had run to mid track on the west slopes of Dolomite Peak. North and east aspects had good ski quality. Solar aspects had a sun crust from Saturday with a dusting of new snow. We didn't require ski crampons on steeper solar aspects, but you likely will need them soon.
