We found good skiing on the SW slopes of Cirque Peak. Despite reports of warm temps and sun effect there was no suncrust on the surface. The old wind slabs were well facetted and good skiing. Surface hoar was growing at all elevations right up to ridge crest. The surface hoar was larger on the north aspects visited later in the day. We had several localized whoomphs in expected shallow areas but otherwise no cracking or whoomphing.
