Great ski touring today up around the Bow Summit area. Lots of tracks from countless parties enjoying the fine day on both sides of the road. Cold morning, -19°C at the highway at 9 am.
We skied sheltered E facing alpine slopes up to 35 degrees below 2400 m. The snowpack in this area is settled with about 15 cm recent low density storm snow on top with little wind effect.
