A 2.5 loose dry out of steep alpine terrain mid afternoon.
Snowpack Summary
10cm new snow in the last 24 hours with moderate to strong variable winds. Fresh wind slabs on all aspects in alpine terrain, but only east aspects at treeline. Valley bottom has a new widespread crust from yesterday, which will likely be buried by tomorrow. This new crust is also present on solar aspects up to 2300m. Expect new snow to not stick very well at first.
