Ice climbing conditions around Field

Field, British Columbia

Climbing Conditions

Ice climbing conditions around Field continue to be thin, with the classics either not formed or just forming and looking hard.

Guinness- looks really skinny, just forming
Carlsberg- looks hard, narrow pillar on the left only, first pitch not in
Kronenberg- not formed
Pilsner - not formed, some icicles under the roof for mixed
Masseys- not formed yet
Cool Spring - not formed
Super Bock- formed and looks hard, could not see below the arch
Home Brew - looks good
Twisted- no ice
Silk Tassel - formed looks ok

Hopefully, with some more consistent cold temperatures, the ice will start to fill in soon, but for now, it's a slow start to the ice climbing season in Field.
