Surprisingly Good Trail Conditions

Stanley Glacier Trail, Kootenay National Park

Trail Conditions

I spent the day guiding up the Stanley Glacier Trail (not past the official trail sign). Surprisingly good trail conditions, with only a few short muddy sections and a little bit of snow around 1950m (micro-spikes not necessary, but poles always recommended). Had to navigate a couple of wet sections due to a few springs that have sprung up during all the wet Wx. All in all great conditions, especially for this time of year.
