Ski Conditions

Today I guided around Mt. Whymper in Kootenay Park. The ski quality was very good with constant settlements (whumpfs) in small inconsequential terrain reminding us to keep our angle low and avoid large terrain features.

Winds were light to calm all day, therefore snow transport wasn't observed. However I could easily find buried wind slab in predictable locations overlying the low resistance facetted base sometimes making for "challenging" trail breaking.
