Slippery trail conditions with lots of snow up high

Trail Conditions

I guided a 3 day beginner backpacking trip this past weekend in the Citadel Pass area in Banff National Park. Weather was mixed as we had sun, rain, hail, sleet and snow (about 4” when we woke up this morning at about 2100 m and higher). This made for slow & slippery trail conditions on the way out. Note that these conditions might be sticking around for at least a few days.
