Climbing Conditions

Hello, yesterday (Dec. 20) I guided an ascent of Hydrophobia in the Waiparous region. Driving in was easy with our stock trucks. The hike in was straightforward with minimal snow. No avy risk above the route. It was very windy when we go there but the winds did die down around noon. Temps hovered around 0 to -3C. Hydro climbed well with a bit challenging ice screws here and there with aerated ice. Overall a great day on an epic route.
