Climbing Conditions

My guest and I enjoyed excellent conditions on Hydrophobia yesterday. Daytime temperatures hovered around 0c, with light winds. The ice has absorbed some of that warm air and we had good consistent ice quality on a line just left of centre.
There is minimal snow in the Ghost, unlike most areas of the Rockies and we were not concerned about avalanches. Our main hazard was falling rock due to warm temps, which seems like a regular event given the amount of rock that is littered at the base of the route.
It felt more like March in there.
Approach time is 2hrs. A GPS track of the approach can be found on the new Ice and Mixed App.
